DIARY 1/29 米株反発、但し米中銀はタカ
Today, I'm at home with my family. I feel relax because there is no task. My family have cleaned our house and my daughter went to bed just now. I've started watching Netflix. I like documentary show because I can learn something new. It's very interesting.
The U.S. stocks surged yesterday. The S&P 500 rallied at the end of this week. It is the biggest rally since June 2020 and it wiped out week losses. In the U.S. all sectors without energy surged yestorday. The tech heavy NASDAQ also rallied. Dip buyer was lured by the strong financial resvlt of Apple Inc. In this week, the sentiment of stock investors was bad because of fears of Central bank's policy change and inflation. The FRB chairman Jerome Powell signaled faster tightening.
Treasury on 10 years declined 2bps to 1.78%. Dollars was little changed. Investors saw an employment cost index was lower than expected. The expectation for FRB raising interest rate was weakened. Investors still focus on if the rate hike in March is 50bps or not.
