Diary 3/13 熱性けいれん
My daughter got febrile seizure last week. It was third time so we took her to a hospital. The first time, we were surprised at the symptoms so we called ambulance. A febrile seizure is a convulsion in a child that is caused by a fever. The fever is often from an infection. Generally speaking, it occur in young, healthy children who have normal development and haven’t had any neurological symptoms before. It is usually harmless and last a few minutes. However, the symptoms scared us. Children who have febrile seizure lose consciousness and shake their arms and legs. She is fine now and the symptoms last a few minutes. So I don’t think it is complex one. But we have to take care of my daughter more carefully. Parents always worry about their children.
