Homelessness
I saw a documentary in Netflix. It was about homelessness. There are many homeless in the US. When I was in the US, I saw many homeless people. At first, I was scared because I didn’t see homeless people in Japan. Some of them ask me to give money and cigarettes. I didn’t give them but I saw some people give money and owe foods to homeless people. I was surprised at it. Afterwards I sometimes give something to them.
In the US, thing’s price is increasing higher and higher. In the COVID situation, company raise merchandise price because commodity price is higher. However Japanese company don’t do so. Japanese consumer hate companies raise price so they can’t. I think one of the reasons why Japanese economy is in deflation is Japanese culture. However, in these days, higher commodity price in all over the world hits also Japanese companies. PMI is increasing but CPI isn’t in Japan. It means that higher price burden is getting larger in Japan.
If Japanese CPI rises, it may be burden of consumers. The rise of rent, and foods price might bring homelessness in Japan. For now, almost all people can live an “usual” life in Japan. In terms of economics, Japanese government and Central bank has to bring inflation to Japanese economy but I hope it will be "good" inflation.
