Diary 5/4 Thought about self quarantine
There are many people who go out even if the country urge people to stay at home. In Japan, a female coronavirus patient’s behavior is controversial. The woman who went back to her hometown and join a BBQ party knew that she had caught coronavirus. It is same as the US, and other countries. Some people think that they don’t catch the virus and they spend their time as usual. If they know that they catch the virus, they sometimes behave as usual. I think it is very scary. Actually many younger people can recover if they got the virus, but many nursing people have to take care of them. Additionally, many people are staying at home, while they don’t like it. Most of all people have stress because they want not to stay home. We don’t know when it calms down so that we feel stress. People who go out are careless for the people who stay at home. The selfish deed should irritate people who bear the stressful situation.
In many cases, the persons who behave selfishly or silly are attacked on the internet. They are disclosed their personal information and harassed by anonymous people. It is very terrible. The information communicated electronically is permanent and public. It might hurt the person’s career and their life.
I don’t know whether the cyberbullying is good or bad. In many cases, I think it is bad however it sometimes keeps people to behave rightly. I think it is no wonder that the organizer BBQ event in the serious situation might be attacked. However, it is very difficult to think about right behavior on the internet. I don’t have a clear answer about it.
In this situation, it is very tough time. Because nobody doesn’t know when the pandemic will finish. Many workers lost their job and market is still volatile. This pandemic might bring the historical market crash and huge recession. We feel stress due to stay home for a long time. We anxious about the future. Since it is tough situation, we need to exercise self-control and manage our risks. We have to consider the future post coronavirus pandemic.
