Day Twenty-five: Farewell to Gatsby

Gatsby and Carraway had breakfast together that day.

Gatsby talked about his past with Daisy.
Five years ago, they were too young to have enough judgment, so they couldn't get married.

When the story of Gatsby was over, Carraway didn't want to go to work and didn't want to leave there.
But finally he stood up.

I think the reason why he didn't want to go was because he thought Gatsby might be arrested or leave his house.
It was a very touching scene, so I thought this might be the eternal farewell between Caraway and Gatsby.

“Goodbye. I enjoyed breakfast,” Carraway said to Gatsby, and he left.
