Day Twenty-four: Who drove that car?

Tom, Jordan, and Carraway arrived at Tom's house.
Carraway decided to go home without dinner, and he walked slowly away from the front door.
Before he got to the gate, however, he heard his name called, and Gatsby steped out of the bushes.

He asked a lot about the car accident, so it was clear that he knew about the accident, and it means that he was involved in the accident.
Carraway disliked him so much by this time that he replied coldly.

But with a word from Gatsby, he realized the truth.
Daisy was the one who was driving that car!
Daisy couldn't avoid her when Myrtle rushed out.

Gatsby was watching Daisy's room from the garden until 4 in the morning.
He was worried that Tom would be violent to her because of what they talked about that afternoon.

After Gatsby came back, Carraway told him that Carraway should leave this place right now because someone would recognize his car and tell the police.
However, Gatsby didn't want to leave Daisy until he knew what she's going to do.

I thought Gatsby loved Daisy abnormally.
