I'm "ABEAR (A BEAR)" , an advisor of team『LEISURELAND』 on 『BEMANI PRO LEAGUE 2021 (BPL2021)』.

My sponsor named "Yamazakiya Co., Ltd."
Yamazakiya is running many game center named 『LEISURELAND』.
『LEISURELAND』in the Akihabara store is the most famous of the many stores , it had conducted a music game location test such as BEMANI in past.

3. What is BEMANI PRO LEAGUE ?

KONAMI finally started to use their own BEMANI series for esports.
BPL (stands for Bemani Pro League) is the first esports pro league for music game in Japan.
beatmania IIDX with a history of more than 20 years has been selected as the first title game for BPL2021.

4. About the "BEMANI PRO LEAGUE 2021" rule
『BEMANI PRO LEAGUE 2021』 consists of "1st Stage", "2nd Stage", "Semi-Final" and "Final Stage".
First of all, we will play 5 games each on the "1st stage" and "2nd stage".
A total of 3 teams will advance to the semi-final,
"the team that ranked 1st in each stage" and "the team that has the total highest points in both the first and second stages without the team that ranked 1st in each stage".
Therefore, 3 out of 6 teams will not be able to advance to the semi-finals.
■ "1st stage" rules
It is a rule almost similar to BPL ZERO that was held last year.

Each team will play 5 games
each teams play 3 on 3 in 1 round-robin tournament.
(ex. team A play with B, C, D, E, F)
Each match has 3 games.
The first game is called as "先鋒戦" (Senpou-sen) and the player must select songs of ☆8~10.
The second one is "次鋒戦" (Jihou-sen) and level restriction is ☆11.
And final game is "大将戦" (Taishou-sen) and ☆12.
And each game has its own "theme".
The players must select songs within a "theme" and level restriction.
Song list is shown below.
Each game is 1 on 1 match, and each player select one song from songs lists within a limitation, so each player plays two songs in a game.
The winner for each song takes 1 (@Senpou-sen) / 2 (@Jihou-sen) / 3 (@Taishou-sen) points.
(So total points is 2*(1+2+3) = 12 points -> 7 or more points are needed to win)
And the team which has more points wins the match.
The winner team will get 3 points and the loser team can not get point.
If the match is draw, each team can get 1 point.
After all 5 matches , the top one team will go to the semi-finals.
<About Cost point system>
『BEMANI PRO LEAGUE 2021』 has a cost point system.
All players have a cost of 200 throughout the 1st and 2nd stages, costing 10 @Senpou-sen, 20 @Jihou-sen, and 30 @Taishou-sen.
Due to the cost point system, a one strong player can't participate in all Taishou-sen
<About Strategy card>
『Strategy card』 is new rule from BPL2021
If it used Strategy card , invalidate the song selected by the opponent , and the songs will be changed at random.
In 1st stage ,Each team can use Strategy card each 1 for @Senpou-sen, @Jihou-sen, @Taishou-sen.
Therefore, while predicting the players of the opponent team and whether or not to use the "strategy card" from the "cost" and "theme", all teams need to decide join player for each battle.
As an adviser of team『LEISURELAND』, I analyze the opponent teams and players, anticipate the players and song selection candidates for each match, and think about strategies.
