絶妙な仕業　Fine Work of Nature

大雨が降ると山の様子が心配になります。この日のトレイルメンテナンスの課題はこれ。
藤の蔦がからまる大きめの木がトレイルをまたぐように倒れていました。藤の花の季節は終わってますが、なんだか風情のある姿です。
普段なら木をいくつかに切ってトレイルのそばに寄せておくのですが、この日は迷いつつもしばらくこのままで様子を見ることにしました。
こんなトンネルを自転車でくぐるのも乙かもしれません。

Checking the trails after a day of heavy rain fall and wind, we ran into this beautiful issue. A tree covered with vines had fallen over a trail. We wondered and eventually decided to leave it as it is for now. We think it may be something special and exciting to go throuth this tunnel on a bike during our ride.
