How to fall in love again

You may wonder when the last time I fell in love with someone.

There was a time for that.

I was a teenager, in my mid-twenties, the maybe late twenties.

I was young and dumb.

I was praised for my academic achievements, but I could not understand one thing.

I always wanted to meet a person, who will love me back.

I always wanted to treasure someone in my life, who will treasure me in return.

I have dated ladies, but I always felt something was missing.
I have been best friends with a man, but I always felt there was a whole world he had never been invited to.

I have been thanked for saving a life of a person, but I have been left alone for a lifetime.

There were moments, when I thought I will forget about falling in love and falling out of love.

There were moments, when I thought I will give up falling in love with someone.

But, today, I fall in love again.
