The life of Tomcat Bucho 5 Farewell to Collar
It was already February. Soon it would be ten days until the collar could be removed. Bucho and we were counting down the days.
On the long-awaited morning of the tenth day, Bucho again got in his stroller and went to the vet's office.
I was watching Bucho through the window as he sat on the examination table. The check was over. However, the vet didn't remove the collar.
"Eh, why?" Bucho and I looked at each other.
The veterinarian who brought Bucho to me said, "He has a small wound on his stomach, so please keep the necker on until tomorrow morning." The veterinarian was worried that Bucho would lick the wound more than necessary.
However, the scar was made by Bucho trying to lick the wound after surgery with the edge of his collar. It wouldn't be there if he took the collar off.
I returned home pushing the stroller, carrying Bucho, who seemed to be bursting with frustration because he wouldn't take off his collar.
Seeing Bucho still wearing the collar, my husband said, "Let's take it off." "Bucho is fine."
