The life of Tomcat Bucho 6 Definition of Freedom

Bucho didn't resist going to the vet or getting neutered, and he obediently went through a health check and even had blood taken from his little arm for a blood test.

Why is that?

I wonder if Bucho understood everything that was being said between the owners and the veterinarian?

Bucho wants to go outside. He wants to go outside, but he doesn't force himself to go outside unless we are not looking.

I wonder if Bucho is waiting for us to tell him it's okay to go outside.

Also, Bucho doesn't like being relegated to my husband’s room at night. He is called out from the storage closet by the promise of treats, but when he steps out into the hallway, the door separating the living room and the hallway is closed, and he glares sadly through the glass window in the door.
The cat door was opened to make way for the resident cat, Shimao, but we still feel heartbroken every time we see Bucho's sad face.

So one night, after eating a snack, I left Bucho in the living room. Then, around 10 o'clock, Bucho started to get restless. He started to glance at me.

And then, what's more, he went to my husband's room of his own accord.

Bucho's definition of freedom.

"Even if there are rules that you must follow, if you follow them of your own accord, it becomes a choice you made of your own free will." Yes, and you save face too.

Things are very complicated inside Bucho's head.
