《Interview translation of Kamiki Ryunosuke from “Daily MORE”》 1/2

—I heard that you planned and made this book “Omote Kamiki / Ura Kamiki” with your high-school classmates. Your book is full of love and you did a great work.

Ryunosuke(R) :Thank you so much! He’s an editor and he suggested to me “Since you’ll be 25th anniversaries, won’t you try to make your book? I can propose the project.” And then we started to make plans like this. “So, let’s do it!”
For this reason, I felt like “He and me are making this book” so we tried to do our work by ourselves as much as we can.

I talked with Nakamura Hayato who’s high school classmates at alma mater in the book. For making this page, I called my school and asked “Hello, could you tell me who’s the teacher in charge? I want to use my school for photo-shooting.” LOL. 

— I’ve never known there’re such behind stories! So which pages are your favorite?

R: Of course all pages are my favorite but if I had to say I choose “Message to Kamiki-kun” which the chapter of messages from everyone. I was surprised when I read for the first time cause the word “Zutto-mo” (Zutto tomodachi :BFF ) used by Nakagawa Taishi are private joke among him and Arioka Daiki (Hey! Say! JUMP). We used this joke during shooting of the drama called “Kindaichi shounen no Jikenbo”.

I think messages from Iku-chan (Nogizaka46, Ikuta Erika) are able to understand only for people know workplace at that time! They gave messages just for me.

I thought “Don’t you think your messages are too much casual? Just so you know, they’ll be appear in the book! This is a job!” I was pretty happy but also I felt it’s revolutionary. LOL.

—You have lots of hobbies and that stand out in your book.
What do you think about girls who can share your hobbies or rather can do it better than you?

R: I think it’s nice! Certainly I feel good if she has same hobbies and also I’m sort kind of person who think “I’m gonna master this more! ”LOL. However I think one hobby is enough for me to share with other. For example, if both of us like to play (video) games, it’s better to do each other’s favorite one whenever we like rather than playing same game together all day long. And then, if we’re in the mood to play same game at the same timing, just do it. Maybe such laid-back style suits me better.
